It brings a freshness to the air and improves rooms that, in my area of PA during the height of summer, can tend to have a hint of mustiness, even in a home w/ a top-notch HVAC system. I use one of these in the basement, one in the laundry room, one in the 3-season porch, one in the garage and one in the bathroom. LOL the only place I don't use this is the car!!
