Spiked with bourbon, this sticky toffee pudding is prepared with banana bread for a quick dessert or whenever you’re craving something sweet.
INGREDIENTS
• 2 tbsp caramel sauce
• 2 slices banana bread (1-inch thick)
• 2 tbsp bourbon
• 2 tbsp finely chopped pecans
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Spread caramel sauce over one slice of banana bread. Drizzle with bourbon and sprinkle with pecans. Cap with remaining slice.
2. Place banana bread sandwich in Microwavable Meal Prep Bag. Vacuum seal in bag as per FoodSaver® vacuum appliance guidelines. Freeze for up to 3 months.
3. When ready to cook, place bag printed side down in microwave oven. Microwave for 3 to 4 minutes. (While cooking, the bag may slowly inflate and deflate. A vent in the bag will allow steam to escape and a slight whistling sound may be heard.)
4.Wait for 30 to 60 seconds before opening carefully.
Tip:Serve with a dollop of whipped cream, whipped topping or ice cream.
