This handy and cheesy grilled cheese sandwich is perfect to have in the freezer to bring along to work or school for lunch.
INGREDIENTS
• 1 tsp Dijon mustard
• 1 tsp mayonnaise
• 2 slices crusty bread
• 1 slice Cheddar cheese
• 1 slice Swiss cheese
• 1 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Spread mustard and mayonnaise over 1 slice of bread. Top with Cheddar, Swiss and Parmesan. Cap with remaining slice of bread.
2. Heat skillet set over medium heat. Toast sandwich for 1 to 2 minutes per side or until bread is toasted and cheese melts. Let cool completely.
3. Place sandwich in Microwavable Meal Prep Bag. Vacuum seal in bag as per FoodSaver® vacuum appliance guidelines. Freeze for up to 3 months.
4. When ready to cook, place bag printed side down in microwave oven. Microwave for 2 to 3 minutes. (While cooking, the bag may slowly inflate and deflate. A vent in the bag will allow steam to escape and a slight whistling sound may be heard.)
5. Wait for 30 to 60 seconds before opening carefully.
Tip:Use a mild or sharp Cheddar cheese depending on your preference.
